Residency Overview

Overview on Getting Established

Where do you call home?  That is probably a question that you have been asked many times.  Up to this point, you have probably had little say in where you call home.  However, that is about to change.  Residency is about where you live, work, play, and ultimately about where you will now call “home.”

When you first move to an area, it is very important to take the time to get familiar with the area. Take a drive or a city bus and just ride around to get your bearings about where certain landmarks are, and where important basic services are located such as:

  • Churches
  • Colleges
  • Gas Stations
  • Hospitals
  • Banks
  • Post Office
  • Supermarkets
  • Restaurants
