Choosing a Church Overview

When moving back to the States, one of the first places you may expect to find care and acceptance is in the church.  We hope that this is true for you, but you will want to have some fair expectations about what you will be looking for.  There are many points listed in the following articles which will help you determine the most important aspects of searching for and finding a church that God would lead you to.  Remember this while you are considering churches, no church will be like the one you left on the mission field, and you will probably not be as comfortable at first with this new church as you were with your former church.  Be patient, and be gracious and see how God works in your life to bring you into this new caring family that you will be a part of.
