On Sunday, October 1, churches around the world came together before the throne room of God beseeching His favor in sending out more laborers for the Great Harvest of souls. As many are pondering the prospect that the Bridegroom may soon arrive, it is never more urgent that more workers would surrender their lives to help reach nearly 8 billion people who are running out of time.
From Honduras, where folks arrived a half hour early (nearly impossible in a Latin culture) to pray at 9:38, to Vietnam where many were encouraged by corporate prayer, to the Philippines where at least one surrendered to short-term missions, to Papua New Guinea as all ages joined together at the altar to pray, to here in the US as church members were challenged from the pulpit to pray. Bethany Baptist Church in Manila, Philippines (Pastor Jerry Nable) has seen God answer their fervent prayers for more laborers as they are preparing to approve at least eleven more missionaries, resulting in a total of 70 family units who have been sent out from their church.
Let’s continue to pray daily at 9:38 am/pm that those whom God is calling will quickly surrender as midnight fast approaches.
