The new building project is moving a long fast and things are really taking shape. The property has been cleared and all storm drainage is complete, all underground infrastructure is nearing completion, the road has been cut in, graded, and the curbing set. The topsoil is beginning to be spread over all the common areas. The New Mission Office building is scheduled for completion in the middle of January 2024.
I am excited to let you know that framers have started working on the first retirement building apartments! In the coming weeks and months, the first retirement building will have walls, wall sheathing, ceiling joists, roof trusses, and roof sheathing. Once that is complete, the roofers will install the shingles and a team will install the windows and doors. Then church teams are being scheduled to work on the interior.
The slab for the event center is complete and, as of right now, Crossland Construction is preparing to begin construction on it in the coming weeks.
They will handle the exterior finishes, roofing, and the interior framing and insulation. This should also be done in January.
The slab for the short-term apartments is complete. Soon framers from churches will come and begin putting up those walls and then the roof shingles will be added. Church teams will finish out these apartments as well.
938 Sunday was a success on October 1, 2023. We heard from many churches across the country that participated as well as many internationally. Let’s keep praying for more laborers.
We were recently a part of the Global week at Liberty University. Many expressed interest in WIN and BBFI. We were in classes and various dorm meetings.
In October, we also had our Africa Regional Retreat. It was a blast and everyone who attended loved it and appreciated it. We greatly enjoyed our time with the missionaries who were able to attend.
Last week we held the World Mission Forum with BBC in our office building. It was very exciting to see an interest in missions by so many students. Our missionaries did a fantastic job sharing their passion for the people God has called them to and encouraging more to be missionaries. It’s always a good time and a blessing to many.
Stories. Send in your stories of salvations or anything else happening on the field that shows the love and work of God in a person’s life. We would like to post various stories from around the world to help generate interest for missions and encourage people to pray. Send your stories to stories@bbfimissions.com.
November is the month where we start negotiating costs and things pertaining to the medical plan and considering the strength of the plan. Please pray for these negotiations as well as the standing of the self-funded plan overall. We will keep you posted.
If you had not yet heard, Craig Stevenson will be moving on to another job in another ministry. He has helped in many ways with recruiting and working with students in our colleges as well as our MKs. He will certainly be missed and trust God will use him to continue pointing others to Christ.
Also, Janna Wiseley has joined our team part-time to work in our accounting department helping out with all that goes on there. She used to work here many years ago and we are glad to have her back.

Can you believe we are already in the month of November? Thanksgiving is coming up soon. I want to say “Thank you” for serving our Lord as missionaries and shining the Light of Jesus Christ where you are. I also thank the Lord for you and for the privilege to serve you here in the Mission Office. Happy Thanksgiving!
Your friend,
