Lynchburg, VA. – During the week of September 22-27, representatives from the BBFI Mission Office were joined by veteran BBFI Missionary, Beau Moore (Portugal), for Liberty University’s annual missions emphasis event. It’s an excellent opportunity to meet with the thousands of on-campus students and emphasize the need for more missionaries around the globe.
The BBFI representatives presented various opportunities available through BBFI Missions and the World Initiative Network to many students at the display booth, in various classes, and in the residence halls during their evening hall meetings. Many great connections were made with students and faculty regarding the need for more missionary laborers.
Please pray for the students who are prayerfully considering God’s plan for their lives and careers. As students approach their graduation, pray that these relationships will continue to develop and that these students will choose to partner with BBFI and WIN to take the Gospel across the street and around the world for Christ as they fulfill the Great Commission.
“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38
