April 23rd marks the completion of 45 years of service for Debbie Schmachtenberger in the Mission Office. Soon thereafter, Debbie will be retiring, leaving a life that has always enjoyed having a small part in the ministries that BBFI missionaries have had through the years.
Debbie began as a computer programmer in 1976 whose job later evolved into database administrator. Having worked for three different mission directors throughout her tenure, she has had valuable input into the continuity of the Mission Office. At times, she even opened her home to missionaries for short-term stays.
Please join us in congratulating Debbie in achieving her lifelong goal:
“I just want to make a difference in someone’s life. I want to show God’s love and be faithful. I want to finish well.“
We encourage you to email your thoughts or send your best wishes on a video to Jill Wolf (jill@bbfimissions.com) by April 15th. We will compile all of the entries into a gift to present to her on her final day before she enters more opportunities to spend time with her grandkids. We have been truly blessed and will miss having Debbie here on a daily basis. Thank you in advance for showing her your appreciation.
