A Sense of Urgency
Happy New Year! It will be exciting to see what the Lord will do in 2022!
At this time we are still planning for the annual Missionary Family Reunion the week of June 13-17, 2022. Bruce and Charise Garner will be our special guests and speakers this year. If you are going to be in the States at that time, I sure hope you will plan to join us. The cost is very minimal – $50 per family and $25 per single. It is going to be a lot of fun!
We will be promoting Project 938 again this year. We are asking God for more laborers. Would you join us again this year and encourage your churches to participate? It will be a little different than last year so stay tuned for more details.
The 1099 forms for 2021 will be completed no later than January 31, 2022. Please be patient as it takes time to complete the process of preparing the 1099 information. If we have a tax preparer on file for you, a copy of the 1099 information will be sent to your tax preparer and a copy will also be sent to you. Your copy will be included in the first mail packet sent after the 1099s are completed. If we do not have a tax preparer on file for you, your 1099 information will be mailed via First Class no later than January 31, 2022.
The apostle Paul wanted the church at Ephesus to make the most of their time because the days were evil. Thirty years later Paul wrote that they had left their first love. Their lampstand was removed. They drifted from God in the tough times and didn’t sense the urgency to stand strong and shine for God, and they eventually faded out of existence.
I am asking God to help me to have a sense of urgency in these evil last days in which we live. We don’t know what this new year has in store for each of our ministries or for the entire world for that matter. It’s an evil time in which we live, and the time is short. It seems Satan and his demons are working even harder as we approach the Lord’s return. This is making it harder for people to realize their need for a Savior and turn to Jesus. Therefore, we must have a sense of urgency and redeem the time we have as we start the New year! We do this by keeping God first in our lives and loving Him with our all hearts. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!
