For those of you who order from Amazon, I need to make you aware of a new issue with using the PO Box 191 address for your Amazon orders.
Amazon recently opened a new distribution center in the Springfield area. They are now using Amazon Direct deliveries for many shipments from that center. This means they are delivering directly from the distribution center rather than through mail or UPS.
The Post Office notified us this morning that Amazon has been trying to direct drop packages addressed to the PO Box 191 address.
Because direct drop packages have no postage on them the Post Office cannot accept or forward them. They are being returned with the drivers to the distribution center.
The solution as you make future orders from Amazon is to use the 720 E Kearney St address. Amazon is able to make direct deliveries to the Mission Office.
