I think it goes without saying but there have been a lot of changes to our world since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. These changes stretch from normal everyday routines to the way we do ministry both here in the US as well as around the world. While so many areas of our lives have been turned upside down, there are some opportunities that have pretty much been taken off the table all together. One of those areas is mission trips. I mean let’s face it, trying to navigate an ever-changing landscape of government shutdowns, travel restrictions and financial issues around the world makes mission trips difficult, if not impossible to pull off. Thankfully, that is not the end of the story. The BBFI Mission Office has developed a new virtual mission trip opportunity that will bring the international mission trip experience to the individuals and churches of the BBFI.
Virtual Mission Trips are designed to bring a variety of the most dynamic experiences of a traditional mission trip straight to pastors, churches and individuals through the use of live video interaction. Missionary Q&As, country specific cultural experiences and engaging ministry opportunities will be just a few of the many great encounters participants will be involved in as we take a close look at what it means to live and work in another culture. One of the best things about these virtual mission trips is that participants will have the opportunity to serve through virtual teaching, preaching, music and other methods as opportunities arise. On top of all of that, these Virtual Mission Trips are very flexible and can be priced so everyone will have the chance to be involved.
