I am always being asked, “What is the easiest way to create a website?”  I typically respond with, “Well, what do you want to do through your website?” Most of the time, a missionary wants a place to post pictures, their video, contact information, their prayer letter, information about their family, and details about their mission. YOU CAN DO THAT AND MORE THROUGH FACEBOOK!!! Chances are you or someone in your family is very comfortable with Facebook, but I’d guess that most of us don’t know someone who is as comfortable with creating a website. Quite possibly the cheapest, easiest, and fastest solution for having an online presence is creating a Facebook Page. This is Facebook’s version of a website and it is completely free.

What You Need Before You Get Started

• A high-resolution picture
• A logo (if you have one)
• Your video (if you have one)
• One document that contains the text for your page (make sure it’s proofread)
• The link to your donate/profile page on bbfimissions.com
• Pictures of your country (pictures that you’ve taken)
• Stock photos of your country (get free pictures with no copyright restrictions from unsplash.com)  
• Links to any social media accounts
• Your Email (the one you check often)
• At least three past prayer letters (digital)
