Our missions program has always been the cornerstone of my connection to the BBFI.  There are multiple reasons for encouragement in what God is doing through our combined missionary efforts.  I highly recommend viewing the updated “Everywhere” video, available under “Promotional Videos” on the Mission Office website. It is truly exciting to see God’s blessings worldwide. The vision to go into all the world is indeed coming to fruition.  In the last ten years, at least 1,122,817 souls have accepted Christ through BBFI missionaries, and more than 21,000 churches outside the United States are actively participating in the Great Commission.

Our mission has been advancing for 75 years.  The missionaries we train, approve, and send have been faithfully serving in their respective fields, diligently winning souls, baptizing believers, building churches, and training national leaders.  They are effectively accomplishing what we sent them to do.  Often this service comes with unforeseen circumstances, situations and challenges that they are unable to navigate alone.

The Missionary Care Offering serves as a vital resource to address many of these needs, some of which we might not even be aware of, or financially able to handle as individual churches.  Thanks to your past generous participation, missionaries have received security training, assistance with family issues, counseling, emergency-related travel funds, and more.  In 2024 alone, the Mission Office was able to minister at ten missionary funerals, assist in two medical evacuations and maintain the relationship with Fort Sherman Academy for security training support.  This offering also provides advanced mission training each year.

Unexpected emergency expenses are often difficult for our missionaries to manage.  Imagine the blessing it is to our missionaries to know that there is a fund available for such emergencies!  I am grateful that we have a source available to support our team, however this resource depends on the faithful offerings of pastors and churches like yours.  Your gift to the Missionary Care Offering makes all of this possible.  If you recently participated in supporting this offering through the golf fundraiser, or direct support, thank you for your generosity.  We are eternally grateful.
