While our hope is you never have to use it, as part of your monthly Medical Plan deduction, you are participating in an Emergency Evacuation Plan through Intana Global.

Intana will cover you in a qualifying event anywhere in the world with a few exceptions.

Below is a brief summary of benefits. The full plan document can be found on your MyBBFI website under the Medical Plan tab.

Emergency Medical Evacuation:

In the event of a medical emergency, if determined to be medically necessary and the patient is deemed able to be transported, Intana will arrange surface or air transportation to the nearest quality point of care.

Approved travel expenses associated with medical evacuation will be covered up to $50,000 under this program. Intana will also handle family arrangements, immigration and customs details.

NOTE: Quality point of care does not always mean back to the States. Evacuation will take you to the nearest facility that can effectively treat you.

Repatriation:

In the event of the death of a loved one on the field, Intana will arrange for the repatriation of mortal remains.

NOTE: Some countries do not allow repatriation.

Intana will coordinate the travel of immediate family members of the deceased.

This benefit has a limit of $20,000 per occurrence.

Legal Assistance:

Intana offers legal assistance for travelers to find English-speaking attorneys for persons in danger of being arrested as the result of any non-criminal action, or needing to replace lost or stolen documents, such as passports, or personal items, such as luggage.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment:

A $10,000 benefit is provided in the event of death by accidental means for adults.
