It is always quite interesting to see what Bridge articles over the course of a year rise to the top in the number of clicks which indicate what is of paramount importance in the minds of churches. After reviewing the performance of nearly 80 articles posted during 2024, these are the ones that mattered the most to you. (By clicking on each heading, you have the opportunity to either reread the article or catch it if you missed it the first time.)
May 2, 2024 was a great day for the Mission Office as you celebrated with us, either in person, or by reading about the Grand Opening and Open House to the new BBFI Mission Office and its surrounding campus. Without you and the power of our great God, none of this could have been accomplished. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for investing not only in the future of BBFI Missions, but in caring for our retired missionaries in need of permanent housing. Much progress on the Event Center and short-term/long term housing has been accomplished in 2024 and we look forward to soon welcoming you back to see the completion of the additional phases.
It is clear by your interest in the new WIN missionaries that were approved in 2024, that missions is still the heartbeat of the BBFI. As you have become acquainted with them and welcomed them into your churches, we are giving praise to our God for answering the Project 938 prayer in sending out more laborers into the harvest.
Occasionally, we publish information in the form of video which by nature, attracts many views. This video was unique in that it featured three of our staff ladies who shared their joys in serving the missionaries and churches through the Mission Office.
One of the major transitions our office took on during 2024 in order to be more financially efficient was to convert from using a Commerce Bank lockbox to receive and deposit checks directly to now all being processed in-house. We are very grateful that many of you have taken the initiative to be informed about the conversion and have made that adjustment in where your regular giving is mailed.
The number one article for 2024 with the most reads is that of the prominent milestones that your missionaries have reached in their ministry. As you have acknowledged their faithful service, it is noteworthy that your commitment to them is far reaching, and your reliable partnership reciprocated, producing much fruit to the glory of God.
There you have it! Feel free to drop me a line anytime with suggestions regarding future articles or anything you have read that has been thought provoking. (jwolf@bbfimissions.com). Happy Reading!
