It is with mixed emotions of sadness and rejoicing that we inform you of the homegoing of Hazel Worley, veteran missionary to the people of Korea, Singapore, and Russia. Hazel served the Lord for 58 years loving and teaching the Word of God among the people she loved dearly. After battling health issues, Hazel passed from this earthly life into heaven on Friday June 7, 2024, in North Carolina. This world has lost another light in the darkness as Hazel met her savior face to face and was reunited with many, she loved so dearly that preceded her to heaven.
One can only imagine Hazel’s joy when she heard the voice of her Savior and saw the glories of Heaven.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9
Please join the entire BBFI Missionary Family in praying for Mrs. Worley’s Family. Surviving are daughters; Ginger Crocker (Ray) of Singapore, Joy Speights (David) of Thailand, and Julie Worley of Princeton; brother, Mihlon Pilkington; sisters, Inez Evans, Marguerite Greene, Betty Evans, and Kay Creech; daughter-in-law, Carol Worley Hunter; and 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
