If you can be a part of the approval process for our newest missionary candidates, please notify the Office and make plans to attend the Field Rep meeting on Tuesday, September 19th at 1:30 pm at the Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso, OK.

Pastor Linzy Slayden tells of many points of interest to missionaries during the September meeting:

• There are booth opportunities for any missionary without charge.  Contact Jeff Smith at the church for more information.
• There will be child care offered during PM services with Steve Harney conducting a children’s service every night.
• There will be child care in the AM also if they know how many to plan for.  (Please contact the church.) Steve is doing a breakout session for children’s ministries on Tuesday morning.
• Breakout sessions on Tuesday highlight helps “In the Trenches”.
• They are planning cultural emphasis every night that will add to the meeting
  • Monday night – Route 66..sub sandwiches and Route 66 desserts
  • Tuesday PM – Native American presentations.
  • Wednesday PM  – Cowboy Country with gunslingers making an appearance.
• There will be a drawing for a free five day cruise for pastors or missionaries on Wednesday…but they have to be present!
• Wednesday is Missions Day with approvals in the morning.  There will be something special for every missionary family approved.  Oklahoma BBQ lunch will be served in the Event Center after the AM service.
• Honors will be given to Georgia Webb and Jerry Thorpe with Fellowship Faithfulness Awards Wednesday night.
• Special guests include Anita Renfroe with the Ladies on Tuesday at 10 AM.  Also on Tuesday night, The Skit Guys will perform followed by Jerry Thorpe.
• Matt Fore is a guest illusionist and comedian performing Monday night after the service and for the Wednesday luncheon.

It is within driving distance of the largest state fellowships so they are expecting many to attend.

Evening services begin at 6 PM, morning services at 9 AM

The Tuesday PM service will be well attended with the Skit Guys and Jerry Thorpe so it would be best to get there early.
