We need to make you aware of an important change to our Emergency Medical Evacuation coverage.

Since 2009 we have been working with International Helpers Trust (IHT) which coordinates our evacuations and repatriations through INTANA. While they have done an adequate job for us, there have been complications with them being based overseas (England).

Effective 1/1/2022, our Emergency Medical Evacuation coverage will be transferred to IMG Global Response, which will reduce the difficulties we experienced with INTANA.

IHT is working closely with IMG Global Response to assure that we have better access to emergency services for our group.

IMG will be printing new cards with the updated contact information soon. Until then, here is the contact information for IMG Global Response:

We encourage you to begin any medical evacuation by contacting the Mission Office. We can assist you with communication and other issues.

Intana Global to IMG Global Response – Effective 1.1.22

Good afternoon. We are excited to announce that we have made a service contract change for our International Helper’s Trust Participation Accounts. This change was made to streamline the servicing and response for you and your members. We made this change for the following reasons:

• Improved service communication (USA based and USA staffing)
• Greater coordination of benefits (as applicable)
• Enhanced coordination of Guarantees of Payment

While the provider’s name is changing, I would like to assure you that you will see no changes in your existing coverage, plan or rates. Your members, however, will be greeted by IMG Global Response rather than Intana Global during a call.

Important bullets to note:

• Implementation effective 1.1.22
  • Service Provider Name will be IMG Global Response
  • Emergency assistance number will be 317.927.6852 This number will be printed in the Memorandums
  • Your group Scheme numbers will remain in place (to be used in an unsecure environment)  
  • Email address to use :   ihtassistance@imglobal.com  and ihtclaims@imglobal.com  
  • New Servicing info and new Evacuation  phone number and email address will be printed on their new IMG Medical ID cards  (as applicable)
  • All Group Travel accounts will be provided an updated Group Memorandum of Participation reflecting IMG Global Response    
  • IHT property claims will continue to be handled by Becky Bagwell, Gallagher Claims Manager.  They should continue to be sent using the same claim form and same claim email
  • IMG Global Response will provide a Service Brochure as an overview of their Company Service which will be forwarded to you
