It is with mixed emotions of sadness and rejoicing that we inform you of the homegoing of Katherine Finch, veteran missionary to the people of Japan.  Katherine served the Lord for 50 of the 94 years the Lord gave her on the earth loving and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ among the people of Japan whom she loved dearly.  Having retired from active missionary service in 2009 she and her husband, the late Rev. Bobby Finch made their home in Virginia.  Katherine passed from this earthly life into heaven on Friday June 30, 2023. This world has lost another light in the darkness as Katherine met her savior face to face and was reunited with many, she loved so dearly that preceded her to heaven.

One can only imagine his joy when she heard the voice of her Savior and saw the glories of Heaven.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
