I would like to inform you that we have a new person on staff who has accepted the Administrative Assistance position working in the finance area for Brian Garrison. Her name is Kimberly Riggs (no relation to the Riggs in Zambia) and we are happy to have her on our team. She loves missions and missionaries and is a member of Graceway Baptist Church in Springfield. She has experience in the finance world working for a medical company and has an MBA degree. Please welcome her whenever you have a chance.

At the recent Fellowship meeting we had in Springfield, we saw five new couples approved as career missionaries and one single lady was recognized as a TEAM CAN missionary. The single missionary recently married one of our single TEAM CAN missionary men. So, that was neat to see happen.

We are looking forward to the Missionary Family Reunion less than two weeks away. It will be another good opportunity to be refreshed and encouraged as we spend time in God’s Word and also have a lot of fun together. Everyone from the youngest kids to the oldest adults will have a wonderful time.

I am currently on a two-week trip to Tanzania. There I will have the opportunity to spend some time with missionaries and then 500 national pastors from East Africa. It will be a blessing to visit with some of the men I helped train while in Kenya years ago. These men are making a difference in Kenya and have grown in their understanding for world missions.

After Tanzania, I will be in Dallas to attend a Pastor Luncheon hosted by the Mission Office to share with area pastors about what the Mission Office does for missionaries. In addition, we will share with the pastors what God is doing through you worldwide and we will encourage them to continue supporting you both prayerfully and financially. Brian Garrison will be with me at this meeting. We are hosting these meetings across the country in various regions for our pastors.

I would love to hear from you and how God is working in your ministry. You are in my prayers. If you are going to be at the Reunion – I will see you then.
