Nancy Evelyn Mantonya 74, Springfield, Mo. passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Mercy Hospital. She was born on June 19, 1942, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Pointer and Irene Sanders, and by her son-in-law; Michael S. Radak. Nancy was a missionary along with her husband for almost 46 years, with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International. She was also a housewife and mother to her children, and a member of the Cherry Street Baptist Church.

Missionary Biography
Henry and Nancy Mantonya were approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to Brazil in May 1971. Henry is a 1969 graduate of the missions course of Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, and Nancy completed the concentrated missions course at BBC. They served their internship at the Bible Baptist Church of Crystal in Navajo, New Mexico, and at the Grace Baptist Church in Golden City, Missouri, where Henry was ordained in 1971. The Mantonyas have four grown children. Their son, James, and his family and their daughter Jayme (Radak) are also serving as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to Brazil.
