Building the Kingdom
Well, this has been an amazing summer with at least 61 people getting saved and 23 people being baptized! We had the closing ceremony of our Christian School. They will be starting their fourth year this next year. Please pray that they have the best school year so far in 2026-2027.
Camp was also amazing with 130 teens and 85 adult workers participating. There were 17 decisions for salvation!
The first three VBS events were great with a total of approximately 200 kids in attendance and 26 decisions for salvation so far. What brings us great joy is when we see children hearing a clear presentation of the gospel from leaders who have been saved, discipled, and trained in the ministry here in Merida these past 25 years! Please pray for the VBS at San Jose Tzal Baptist Church and the for the one-day VBS that the Caucel City Baptist Church will be holding in the new village soon.
It has not just been young people coming to know the Lord, we had a 96-year-old who got saved a few months ago and was baptized in July at the age of 97!
Building the Building
Finally, we want to share an urgent need with you concerning the construction project! We have an organization that is offering to match up to $50,000 in offerings. We are still lacking a bit to make that goal. If you could help us with any amount towards that, please contact us at larryallred@usa.net and we will let you know how to get it to their organization to be matched. With that matching gift, we will be very close to getting the entire first floor closed in and ready to start on the second floor.
We can’t thank you enough for your prayers and financial support that enables us to continue this wonderful ministry in Merida. God bless each of you.
