During the September National meeting, new missionary candidates were approved as follows:
Chris and Vallie Keeny
Chris and Vallie were approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to Chile. Both have bachelor’s degrees from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Chris also has a Master of Arts from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, LA. Prior to becoming missionaries, Chris and Vallie were in ministry for 10 years. Chris was ordained in November 2011 at Baptist Temple in Waskom, TX. Their sending church is Baptist Bible Church in Buffalo, MO. T. and J. Long (not pictured due to restricted access)
The Longs were originally approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to a creative access nation (CAN) in May 2000. T. and J. Long are 1998 and 1999 graduates of the missions course of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. They served their internship at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Indianapolis, Indiana and have two sons and one daughter. He was ordained in 1999 at Noble Hill Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. The Longs resigned as BBFI Missionaries in May 2013, and were reinstated at the September Meeting as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to their previous creative access nation. Don & Phyllis Weeks
Don and Phyllis Weeks were approved as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries to a creative access nation (CAN) country in May 2002. Don is a 1979 graduate of the pastoral course at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri where Phyllis also attended. The Weeks have one son and two daughters.
