Antioch Bible Baptist Church (Gladstone, MO) graciously hosted the September BBFI National Meeting September 20-22. After the Mission Field Committee vetted the three missionary candidates who were up for approval, they were recommended as BBFI missionaries by the Committee and approved by those in attendance. Seeing God answer prayers centered on Matthew 9:38, known as Project 938, was truly encouraging in that God is not finished with sending out more workers into the abundant harvest fields.
Now your part follows in assisting these new BBFI missionaries in getting to their respective fields as quickly as possible.
Jonathan, who grew up as an MK in Chile, felt called into ministry as a young boy. In spite of his attempts at melding his plans with God’s plans, it became clear that in order for him to be truly happy, he would need to follow God’s plan for his life. After researching and seeking God about many different potential countries where he could serve, his burden for the Chilean people grew out of a six-week trip back to Chile as an adult. Separately, God placed a clear call on Olivia’s life to go to Chile, build relationships and teach them about the redemptive love of Christ. Now having served faithfully in various ministries at Cherry Street Baptist Church (Springfield, MO) for ten years, they are ready to take the next step of faith by serving their internship in Chile. Cherry Street Baptist Church, with Dennis Jennings as their pastor, is their sending church.
After having completed their internship, this couple is being sent out of Hillside Baptist Church in Springfield, MO, where John Bingham is the pastor, to the field of Vietnam where they will be working to establish their ministry.
After completing their TEAM internship on the field, this couple is looking forward to returning to successful ministries that have been established there. Their sending church is Journey Church in Barrington, NH where Robert Willis is the pastor.
