On May 4th, we were delighted to welcome the following missionaries into the BBFI Missions family. Please join us in praying for them and assisting them in every way possible in quickly getting to their respective fields of service.
Brynn Gotcher was approved as a missionary to the Philippines in May 2023. Brynn graduated in 2021 with a degree in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She completed her internship at her sending church, Hope Community Church in Midland, TX.

Jacob and Sydney Mulford were approved as missionaries to Portugal in May 2023. Jacob and Sydney graduated in 2022 with degrees in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Jared and Haley Paiz were approved as missionaries to Costa Rica in May 2023. Both Jared and Haley graduated in 2019 with degrees in Intercultural Studies from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. Tyler and Sarah Prince were approved as missionaries to Ireland in May 2023. Tyler graduated in 2019 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Boston Baptist College in Boston, MA. Sarah graduated in 2018 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Boston Baptist College. Tyler and Sarah completed their internship at their sending church, Bible Baptist Church in Osborne, KS. Shaun and Jeri Vance were approved as missionaries to Kenya in May 2023. They have served as missionaries in Kenya since 2017 through another agency.
Shaun and Jeri both pursued degrees in science and biology until the Lord called them to ministry. Shaun graduated in 2017 with a Master’s of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA. The Vances completed their internship at their sending church, Decatur Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. They can be contacted at shaun.vance@bbfimissions.org.
Corey and Cora Wilcher were approved as missionaries to Canada in May 2023. Corey graduated in 2021 with a degree in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, LA. Cora earned a mission’s certificate in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University. The Wilchers completed their internship at their sending church, Bible Baptist Church in Mt. Orab, OH. Michael is a 2011 graduate of Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, LA and Cristy completed her degree from Louisiana Baptist University in 2014. They served their internship as TEAM BBFI missionaries in Nakagawa, Japan where they worked with veteran missionaries Mike & Becky Winters. Michael and Cristy Wyatt were approved as BBFI missionaries to Japan in May 2014. In 2020, they felt the Lord was leading them to change fields and serve in England, however due to travel restrictions and border closures in Japan, they resigned as BBFI missionaries in November 2020. Michael then became the pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Unadilla, New York, in late 2020. In 2023, the Lord reopened the door to England for the Wyatts. Michael & Cristy were reinstated as BBFI missionaries to England in May of 2023. They can be contacted at michael.wyatt@bbfimissions.org.
Due to the inability to continue ministry in their former country, the following missionaries have been approved to change fields to the nearby country of Estonia.
