Nicko and Denise Guyer were approved as WIN Missionaries to Guatemala in April 2024. They will be serving alongside BBFI missionary Karen Kolb and WIN missionaries Adriel and Kaitlynne Yos to make disciples of Jesus Christ through planting churches in Guatemala.
Nicko has a degree in Computer Science from NC State University and worked as a Software Engineer for the past 12 years before being called to full time ministry. Denise has a degree in Fashion and Textile Management from NC State University and loves sewing and being creative. They have four beautiful children who are just as excited to be missionaries as they are. Their sending church is Mid-Way Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. Before becoming members at Mid-Way, Nicko and his family have helped plant two other churches in North Carolina, and have served in many areas including teaching, children’s ministry, church administration, leading worship, media, and tech. Mark and Faith Guzman were accepted into the WIN program through the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to the field of South Korea in April 2024. Mark obtained a certificate in Biblical Studies and Theology from Word of Life Bible Institute in Chester, NY in 2016. In 2019, Faith received a certificate in Biblical Theology from Word of Life. The Guzmans sending church is Liberty Baptist Church in Orlando, FL. Mark and Faith will serve alongside fellow WIN and BBFI missionaries to share the gospel in Jeju, South Korea. John and Suzanne Kurtz were accepted into the WIN program through the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to the field of Tanzania in April 2024. John graduated in 2020 with a degree of Science in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Suzanne graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree of Science in Digital Media and Video from Liberty University. The sending church for the Kurtz family is Park Valley Church in Haymarket, VA. Caitlin Wahe was accepted into the WIN program through the Baptist Bible Fellowship International to the field of Togo, West Africa in April 2024. Caitlin will graduate in 2024 with an Intercultural Studies degree from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She will also receive her nursing degree from Cox College of Nursing in Springfield. Her sending church is Berean Baptist Church in Albuquerque, NM. She will serve as a medical missionary to the precious people of Togo where she can use her passion of caring for people both physically and spiritually.
