I hope your month of May was fruitful. The recent Fellowship meeting, April 28~May 1, this year saw one couple and one single approved as BBFI missionaries along with one couple being reinstated. One WIN couple and single also shared their testimonies. We heard a great challenge from one of our CAN missionaries. In addition, we had two chaplains endorsed by the BBFI.
I was asked to remind you that missionaries are allowed to vote for the next BBFI Executive Committee. The ballot and stipulations are listed at www.BBFI.org. You have until the end of June to vote.
Check out our new online store. There are many apparel options to choose from, and you can have either the BBFI or WIN logos put on them. Click on this link: BBFI Missions Store
Our annual golf tournament we call the Missionary Care Invitational was a huge success. We had the most teams we have ever had. We had the most sponsors than in the past. Everyone enjoyed it a lot and especially the reason for it – Missionary Care. I believe once everything is said and done, we raised over $34,000.
Our annual Advanced Mission Training for new missionaries is July 13-17. Please pray for our new missionaries who will be attending. There are courses that other missionaries may attend if you are interested in any refreshers. For a list of those, contact Chad Braymer at cbraymer@bbfimissions.com.

At the last Fellowship Meeting I introduced the Iran/Cuba Initiative. This is something we want to be proactive about – being ready to reach into both Iran and Cuba in the event they open. We want to have resources and personnel ready – not just from the States but from other countries too. We will be working with contacts on the ground to begin our preparations. Please pray with us about this important endeavor.
A friend sent me this quote that I thought was good to share with you.
One man’s candle is a light for many.
Remember, God called you to be a light in the darkness. You are vital to the mission. You are there for those people God has sent you to. Thank you for standing strong and facing the difficulties you face — that many might see the Light through you.
Your friend,
