Can you believe it is already November? In many ways it seems like the year has gone by so fast. I pray this letter finds you doing well in the Lord. Following are a few items I’d like to bring to your attention.

• With the year-end getting close, please make sure we have the current tax preparer on file for you. Your 1099 information will go out in January 2019.

• You now have the option to set up for Reunion Savings as you plan ahead. CLICK HERE for the link to a Missionary Connection article that explains more about that. Don’t forget to sign up for the Reunion if you are going to be on furlough during June 2019. It is always a lot of fun and encouragement. You can register for the Reunion at bbfimissions.com/reunion.

• We have a new set of pastors on the Executive Committee. Please remember to pray for them as they lead our Fellowship. They are: Tim Adrian, Jon Haley, Jon Slayden, Sean Sears, Michael Haley, and Brian Moore.

• We have completed the Phase Two update for the MyQReport website and app. It includes a mileage tracker and the ability to import itineraries, bank statements and files from QuickBooks as well as several other minor updates. If you have any questions, please contact Kena at Kena@bbfimissions.com.

• Tim and Jackie Long will be leaving the Mission Office the end of this year. They will be entering another ministry that God is leading them to. Please pray for them as they make this transition. We thank Tim for all he has done in the Mission Office over the past five plus years in spite of the many health situations he has encountered and endured. His faithfulness and wisdom are much appreciated.

With Thanksgiving coming up this month, I am sure that you can make a list of so many things to be thankful for. We can give thanks for our salvation, call, family, country and friends.

When I think about the call to serve as a missionary, I am so thankful that Christ said all power was given to Him and that He goes with us wherever we go. Paul elaborates on Christ’s authority in Ephesians 1:21 stating it is “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.” That means it is above all spiritual or physical powers that we might face in this world.

Remember Jesus said in Matthew 28:18, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” That ultimately means that your evangelistic, discipleship and church planting efforts will bear fruit because those efforts are backed by the authority of Christ Himself. That fact should encourage us to seize every opportunity to share Christ and His Word with others. And knowing this is true should cause us to be thankful for His presence and power.

So, may we all be faithful this month, realizing that we represent the One in whom lies all power and authority. Nothing can stop or prevent His purposes in our lives and ministries. Nothing!
