The Mission Office has recently partnered with Moneycorp (www.moneycorp.com), a global currency exchange firm.  We are currently in the launch phase and wanted to make you aware of this valuable money saving opportunity.

There are 2 dynamic offerings that Moneycorp brings to the table (among many others):

1. Lower overall fees on USD wires.  This is primarily due to the ability to avoid sending funds through an intermediary bank (a $30 fee).  USD wires with Moneycorp come with a flat fee of $10.  Avoiding the $8.00 fee from Commerce Bank along with the $30 fee from the Intermediary Bank…that’s a savings of $28 on EVERY USD wire.

2. Savings on the currency exchange. Moneycorp provides us with the ability to wire in foreign currencies.  This could result in a significant savings on the exchange for each wire.  This means you would no longer be at the mercy of the receiving bank for their exchange rate. A recent wire in Euros to one of our missionaries resulted in a savings of more than $70.00.

Also provide the following:

1. Receiving currency for wire:  Your local currency with currency type or US Dollars
2. If a different bank account is required for your currency, please provide this information.
