(A recent prayer letter received from Michael & Tammi Nelson, Australia.)
“God, what do You want to do?” There are so many possibilities to utilize the 28 acre property. We are in the very early stages of planning to develop the church’s land and build a church home. The church family has come together and completed the refurbishment of the house to become an office and Bible study meeting space. It is amazing what cleaning, painting, and new carpet can do. A group of men in the church laid the carpet, ah the smell of new carpet is wonderful. It is so good to use this house as our office space. We would be grateful for your prayers and continued support as we move forward by faith.
“It is time for me to say, Yes.” It is a joy to witness God’s transforming work in a person’s life when they respond with baptism. Baptism is especially joyful when you know that a person is choosing to turn away from their past faith in religious tradition to follow Christ alone. We recently celebrated the baptism of nine people, each with their own unique story of obedience, faith and saying, “yes.”
“We definitely have to do this again next year!” Family Camp was a great success in developing community and relationships. We enjoyed a weekend of activities, games, and meals together concluding with a tremendous church worship service. Several unsaved friends and family members joined us. As a blessing, a yet to be saved family that came to camp is now attending church. Plans for the next camp have already begun.
Many unsaved ladies were invited to a delicious meal, crafts, games, carols, and to hear the gospel at the Christmas themed outreach event. Tammi’s mother, Kathy Brown, who was visiting Australia for a couple of months shared the gospel message. It is wonderful to see all the ladies come together.
Tait (18) is now a high school graduate. She has been accepted into a local university where she will study to become a nurse. We are proud of her great work ethic and faithful weekly service at church. Rylee (16) has received her Learner Driving Permit. We now have the joy of teaching her to drive a car.
Thank you for partnering with our family.
