This spring, the Mission Office has been actively recruiting and encouraging greater involvement in missions.
Student Missions Conference
March kicked off with a Student Missions Conference hosted by Seminole Baptist Temple. Pastor Kevin Kolb and Student Pastor Luke Franks had a vision to inspire students to boldly share their faith and speak up for Christ.
Associate Director Chad Braymer was the speaker with several BBFI missionaries participating in the event. They shared their testimonies and took part in a panel discussion. The conference was well attended by students from many area churches, and we’ve been encouraged by the reports of students returning to their schools and boldly sharing the gospel.
If your church is interested in hosting a student missions event, please reach out to Chad Braymer at cbraymer@bbfimissions.com.
Coffee and Conversation at Mission U
The Mission Office also participated in a special event at Mission U, designed to connect with students and answer questions about serving in missions. Organized by Campus Pastor Zach Stewart, the event included Mission Office directors, recruiting staff and BBFI missionaries who were excited to engage with students and provide guidance on their missions journey.
College of the Ozarks Career Expo
This April, our recruiting team also attended the Career Expo at the College of the Ozarks in Hollister, MO, to present the WIN program. It was a great day filled with conversations, especially with education majors exploring global teaching opportunities. Students from a variety of academic backgrounds were also interested in how their degrees could align with the WIN program and missions work.
Partnering with Churches for Mission Conferences
This spring, we’ve been honored to participate in several church Mission Conferences. It’s always a joy to share how God is working through missionaries around the world and to challenge both congregations and the next generation to take their next steps in missions involvement. If you would like one of the directors to speak at your church, please get in touch with us.
