September was a busy month being in some churches to present missions, attending the National Fellowship Meeting in South Dakota, and then being a part of the Global Focus Week at Liberty University to recruit new missionaries. I was so thankful for the opportunity to spend some quality time with some of our MKs.
In October, I will be visiting more churches and also leading our annual World Mission Forum (Mission’s Emphasis) at Mission University (formerly known as BBC). Would you pray for the students as God works upon their hearts, that they would be responsive to the call to missions? Usually, we see a few students make the decision to change their major to missions.
I know we are all aware that Satan attacks God’s people, especially those serving Him. It seems like he is getting more ruthless and working harder against missionaries.
I came across these words of warning and advice: To guard against those attacks, remember that God uses persecution to mature you and bring glory to Himself. Also, make a conscious effort each day to please God rather than people. Finally, evaluate your priorities and activities carefully. Fight the tendency to become preoccupied with things unrelated to God’s work and your calling.
I am praying that God will keep you spiritually alert throughout these days, so the enemy doesn’t catch you off guard.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11)
Stand firm, my friend!
