STARTING IN 2018 THE TSA WILL NOT ACCEPT DRIVERS LICENSES FROM NINE STATES
Starting January 22, 2018, nine states will still not have complied with the new driver’s license requirements to be accepted as identification when going through security at the airport for all travel including domestic trips. Residents of Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Washington will have to use alternate ID forms (passport, military ID, or permanent resident card) to pass TSA security checkpoints-even for domestic travel! You should check now if you are in one of the nine states and make certain you have a valid US Passport. Some states are working for extensions but for now, be aware of this alert.
