It is always a highlight of Missions morning during the May Fellowship meeting to recognize missionaries who have reached significant milestones in the tenure of their ministry. This year we honored two missionary couples who have invested 30 years in sharing the Gospel on their respective fields.
Russ, son of missionaries Jerry and Sharon Daniels, grew up in Kenya where, at the age of 13, he surrendered his life to full-time service and knew when as a teenager on a visit to Uganda that God was calling him there. Even in their early days on the field, Russ’s vision was to establish an institute to train nationals in development of a church planting movement in Uganda. Graduates have not only established churches, but those churches are now starting other churches. If you would like to contact them with your appreciation for 30 years of dedication to the ministry, you may do so at russ.daniels@bbfimissions.org.
Mike, another second generation missionary son of Richard and Lynda Todd, grew up in Argentina then later returned after he and his wife, Sandy, were approved as missionaries. They started churches, taught in Bible institutes and have served in various leadership roles through the missions efforts in Argentina. Their greatest accomplishment, in their own words, has been raising their two children, Michael and Stephany who are now grown and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. If you would like to contact them with your appreciation for 30 years of dedication to the ministry, you may do so at mike.todd@bbfimissions.org.
