Where’s That Missionary? Are you familiar with the “Where’s Waldo?” books? Children and adults as well have fun looking for lanky Waldo dressed in his red/white stripes hiding in plain sight amid a busy scene. Once you locate him, you may ask yourself, “Why did I not know he was there?” I am not saying missionaries hide but sometimes finding where they are can be the most challenging part of my job. Yet it is one of the most important. Three reasons are: (1) we may need to contact you with vital information (2) check on your safety and well-being should there be any unrest or weather disasters in your field of service (3) provide correct information to churches.

I am excited to tell you the Mission Office has a new tool on our website that will make it easier for you to report any updates to your contact information or status change. Go to bbfimissions.com click on “myBBFI” look for “Missionary Status Change” directly under your “myBBFI” folder. Simply fill out the form and click “submit” at the bottom of the page. Once you submit, it will be emailed directly to me, Vicki Keever, and I will make the changes to your account. Reasons to use this form:

1. Change or add phone numbers
2. Change address
3. Place your mail on HOLD
4. Leave the field (furlough or other reason)
5. Return to the field
