We are reaching out to let you know the United States Post Office (USPS) has raised their rates yet again (7/14/25). That makes three times in the last year. The new current First-Class letter stamp is $0.78. Foreign stamps now start at $1.70 per envelope. Both are for a single envelope. As you can imagine, the cost goes up with the weight.
While we are doing everything possible to avoid charging postage on your monthly mail, (some call Tribune mail), we need your help!
Please review the contents of future mailouts to see if you are receiving anything that you could receive online (paperless). Things like:
If you need help in going paperless, please reach out and we will be happy to help you. Most of the above-mentioned already encourage paperless on the outside of their envelopes.
We will continue to mail all First-Class mail (cards, tax documents, bills etc.) that fall within the weight limit as we have done in the past without charging you.
As a reminder, we do not forward standard or non-profit mail. These items are shredded. If you desire to receive non-profit, political or religious mail/catalogs, we encourage you to see if you can receive or view those online.
If you are retired and living stateside, we ask that you make every effort to have your mail delivered directly to your home address or personal P.O. Box — except for your contributions.
We greatly appreciate your help in keeping our postage costs down. We want to be good stewards of both our time and money.
Blessings,
