It is with mixed emotions of sadness and rejoicing that we inform you of the homegoing of Miss Georgia Webb, a veteran missionary to the people of Mexico. Georgia began her missionary service in Mexico in 1948 and continually served the Lord for over 76 years loving and teaching the Bible among the people to whom God had called her. Georgia’s ministry included teaching the Spanish language to hundreds of other missionaries, thus having a strong influence throughout Latin America.
Like many faithful servants of the Lord before her, Georgia, still an active missionary at the age of 97 years was called into the presence of her Savior, on Sunday, September 15, around 11am in Queretaro Mexico.
One can only imagine Georgia’s joy when she heard the voice of her Savior and saw the glories of Heaven.
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
Please join the entire BBFI Missionary Family in praying for those closest to Georgia and her spiritual family in Mexico as they grieve the loss of a dear friend and spiritual mentor.
