It is with mixed emotions of sadness and rejoicing that we inform you of the homegoing of Ruth Ann Pickett, 23-year veteran missionary to the people of England. While battling major health issues, Ruth Ann maintained a positive attitude and exhibited a strong Christian testimony. Ruth Ann passed from this earthly life into heaven on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, on the field in England. This world has lost another light in the darkness as Ruth Ann met her Savior face to face and was reunited with many she loved so dearly that preceded her to heaven.

One can only imagine her joy when she met her Savior, saw the glories of Heaven, and heard her Savior say, “Well Done!”

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

Please join the entire BBFI Missionary Family in praying for Damian, Ruth Ann’s husband of 29 years, and the Pickett family as they grieve this tremendous loss.
