This fall, the Mission Office had the opportunity to participate in two incredible events focused on inspiring the next generation to take the gospel to the nations.
In September, Liberty University invited several mission organizations to campus for Global Focus Week, giving students the chance to explore how they can use their degrees to serve in missions. Mission Office representatives, along with BBFI missionary Beau Moore, spent the week speaking in classes and residence halls, sharing stories from the field, and engaging in many meaningful conversations with students interested in serving cross-culturally.
It was encouraging to see young adults eager to discover how God could use their education and calling to impact the world.

In October, the Mission Office participated in Mission University’s annual World Mission Forum. The theme for this year’s event was “GO,” emphasizing “GO, there is a place for you. The world needs you to GO with your skills and your calling for the sake of the Gospel.”
Day one of the forum was held on campus, where missionaries shared personal stories of what God is doing around the world and how students can get involved. Day two was held at the new Mission Office Event Center, where ministry majors and other interested students took part in panel discussions with the missionaries and heard how the Mission Office supports our churches and missionaries.
Thank you to these missionaries who participated — Andrew and Kelsey Perez, Kevin and Emelie Falde, Tim Downs, Tyler and Brynn Carleton, and Caitlin Wahe.

These two events were a reminder of how God continues to call and prepare a new generation to reach the world. The Mission Office is honored to help connect students, churches, and missionaries as we work together to share the gospel to the ends of the earth.
