It is with both deep sorrow and joyful hope that we announce the homegoing of Dixie Quade, BBFI veteran missionary Wales, United Kingdom for forty years. Dixie and her husband Larry were the first BBFI missionaries in the country of Wales.

After a battle with cancer, Dixie passed from this life into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Columbia University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

We rejoice in knowing that Dixie is now face to face with the Lord she faithfully served and reunited with loved ones who preceded her to heaven.

While she will be greatly missed, we take comfort in the promise of eternal life and a life well-lived for Christ.

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”
